Step 1: Record your fast
Pick a window that fits your life: 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, a full day, alternating days, or your own hours.
Fasting, food, weight and faith, with people who help you stay consistent. Steadfast brings your fast timer, food and weight logs, daily devotional and a small circle of people you trust into one calm place.

One next step, supported by health tracking and a faith practice. Open the app and your day is already laid out.
Pick a window that fits your life: 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, a full day, alternating days, or your own hours.
A simple diary with a calorie ring and macros, measured against goals you set yourself, not goals picked for you.
A short devotional, a prayer card, and verses woven through your fast, in the translation you choose.
Your people see your check-in, encourage you, and notice when you go quiet.
A food log in one app, a fast timer in another, a devotional in a third and the group chat somewhere else. Steadfast holds all of it together.
One tap starts your fast and the whole app turns deep green. A live ring counts the hours, gentle stages walk you through what your body is doing, and a verse for the hour sits alongside.
Your history, longest fast and streaks are kept where you can see them.
Windows are options, not medical recommendations.
Stage notes are general information only. Talk to your doctor before fasting, especially if you are pregnant, under 18, have diabetes or a history of eating disorders, or take medication affected by food.

A food diary with a calorie ring and macros against your own goals, one-tap water, and your meal plans kept alongside.

A daily devotional with Scripture, a short reflection and prayer, space to journal, and a Bible reading plan in five translations.

Set three small goals each week and log progress as you go. Share your week with your Circle in one tap, with the real numbers from your own log.

A 30-day weight trend, your fasting days and your habits over time, drawn from what you actually logged. Small choices, honestly added up.

Abbi is a coach-style companion with a calm, encouraging voice. She helps you plan a fast, prepare for a hard day, and stay the course when motivation runs thin.
Her boundaries are firm. Abbi supports habits and faith. She never gives medical advice and will point you to your doctor for health questions. If her AI connection is ever unavailable, the app tells you plainly instead of pretending.
A simple, honest way to see food at a glance. The Steadfast Score is on its way and arrives with the verified food database update. We would rather show it to you working than promise it early.
Most apps hand you a chart. Steadfast gives you a Circle: a private group of up to seven real people who share your check-ins, your challenges and your week.
A host creates a Circle and names it for the people in it.
Up to six friends join free with a code or a link. Joining never costs anything.
Members check in and encourage and some go on to host Circles of their own.
Creating a Circle is a Premium feature. Joining one is always free.

Each day brings a verse, a short prompt, the day's step and a one-tap check-in. Follow a programme on your own, or walk it together as a team with a shared start date.
A gentle beginner ramp toward 16:8, with honest fasting education, small daily practices and three easy fasts in week one. Built for a first season.
Three steady weeks to rebuild the daily routine: fasting, prayer, food logged simply, and one small practice at a time.
The flagship programme, built for churches and groups to lead together every year: daily Scripture to read and pray, weekly themes, and a shared fast.
Missed a day? Check it in later. It is labelled late, never hidden. Programmes can also send an optional daily reminder email.

Churches already run group fasts every January and Lent with paper sign-up sheets and good intentions. Steadfast gives the season a home: your people follow the same programme in the app, day by day, together.
Cover your group with one code per person. Premium is included for the length of the programme.
A leader guide, a participant handout and an announcement poster, ready to print and hand out.
A roster of who has joined and the team's collective progress, without chasing anyone.
The same programme re-runs each season. Fast together in January, again in Lent, as often as your church returns to it.
Seat bundles are being set with founding churches first. Write to us and we will walk you through it.
Most of Steadfast is free, and joining a Circle never costs anything. Premium is for the people who create: hosts, challengers and programme leaders.

lost on Dave's own journey, from 305 lb to 182 lb
Steadfast began with its founder's own long road back. Dave O'Riordan, known to many as Irish Dave, came to the United States from Ireland in 2014 with his wife Mindi, their two boys and four suitcases.
Over the years that followed he went from 305 lb to 182 lb. He now trains for a 55K trail ultramarathon, and he keeps the paper towel his son Sam handed him at a finish line, one word written on it: Persevere.
Dave has led a Christian school, served as a worship leader and pastor, and has volunteered as a first-responder chaplain. By day he is a senior operations director. He built the app he needed: one calm place where the fast, the food, the faith and the people all live together.
This is Dave's personal story, shared as his experience. Steadfast makes no promise about anyone else's results.
Steadfast is a Christian discipline app. It brings intermittent fasting, food and weight logging, daily devotionals, prayer and a journal into one calm place, and adds private accountability Circles of up to seven people.
